Semi-direct illumination is a translucent material made of lampshade covering the upper part of the light source, more than 60%-90% of the light so that the concentration into the working face, 10%-40% cover light and through the translucent lampshade spread upward diffuse, its light is softer. This luminaire is often used for general lighting in lower rooms. Because diffuse light can illuminate the flat top, the height of the upper part of the room increases, so it can produce a higher sense of space.
