3.FAQ
Q1: Low ceiling – I cannot install a ceiling fan because my ceiling is not high enough?
That is a common myth and it is certainly not true. Most of our ceiling fan models are only 1 foot in height. According to the international standard, there should be minimum 7 feet distance between the fan blades and the floor. In Hong Kong, most apartment buildings have 8 feet ceiling as the lowest height. Therefore, after deducting the height of the fan, you have plenty of distance in between.
Q2: Slope ceiling – Can I install a ceiling fan on a slope ceiling?
Yes, most models can be installed at a ceiling with certain degree of slope without adding any additional accessory. If your ceiling slope is greater than the fan is designed for, you will need to install the fan with an accessory slope ceiling kit – maximum 45 degrees. In most cases of slope ceiling, you will also need to install the fan with an accessory extension down rod to keep the fan blades from contacting the ceiling. There are models that are designed for flush mount and they are not suitable for installing on a slope ceiling.
